The Carabao Cup, also called the EFL Cup or League Cup, marks its 67th edition this season. Winning it brings more than just a trophy; the champions secure a place in the next season’s Europa Conference League along with prize money.

Third Round Draw, Fixtures & Results

The third round matches take place during the weeks starting September 8 and September 15. Nine Premier League teams such as Arsenal and Manchester United enter at this stage. There are 32 clubs playing 16 matches.

Two ties, Everton vs Wolves and Liverpool vs Tottenham, were rescheduled due to clashes with the UEFA Champions League schedule. The EFL stated they tried to find solutions but UEFA declined to move Liverpool’s fixture against Atletico Madrid.
