Anderson Talisca Leaves Fenerbahce for Al-Jazira

Anderson Talisca’s brief Fenerbahce chapter is over almost as quickly as it began – and his next destination is already mapped out.

The Turkish giants confirmed on X that they have terminated the Brazilian’s contract by mutual agreement, drawing a line under a spell that started only in the 2024-25 mid-season window. The club thanked Talisca in a short statement and wished him success in the next stage of his career, a polite full stop to a move that never really had time to settle.

Talisca, though, is not pausing for breath.

According to Transfermarkt, citing respected journalist Resat Can Ozbudak, the former Al-Nassr attacker has reached an agreement with UAE side Al-Jazira. The deal would see him sign for two years with an option for a third season, a sizeable commitment from the Abu Dhabi club as they look to sharpen their attacking edge.

The financial package underlines how highly he is still valued. The Brazilian is set to earn a total annual salary of just over 10 million euros, a figure that keeps him firmly in the top bracket of earners in the region.

There is also a familiar face waiting for him. At Al-Jazira, Talisca is expected to link up with compatriot Malcom, the former Al-Hilal forward, in what could become one of the most eye-catching attacking pairings in the UAE Pro League.

For now, only the formalities stand between Talisca and his new challenge: the medical tests and the signatures on the contracts. Once those are done, another high-profile Brazilian will be lighting up the Gulf – this time in Al-Jazira’s colours.
