Arsenal Keeps Eye on Bradley Barcola Amid Competition from Liverpool and Chelsea

Arsenal continues to track Bradley Barcola, the 23-year-old attacker currently with Paris Saint-Germain. This follows their failure to secure Morgan Rogers, who recently joined Chelsea from Aston Villa. Barcola has caught attention after a strong World Cup showing for France, where he netted three goals in eight matches.

PSG's Transfer Plans Could Open Door for Barcola

Reports from Sky Sports News suggest PSG may let Barcola leave if the right offer comes before the transfer window closes. PSG's interest in signing Yan Diomande might push Barcola to look for more consistent playing time elsewhere. Though he is behind players like Ousmane Dembele, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, and Desire Doue in the lineup, PSG values Barcola and would prefer to keep him if possible.

Renewed Arsenal Interest and Potential New Signing

After missing out on Rogers, Arsenal remains keen on Barcola as they seek fresh attacking options. The club is reportedly close to signing Greek winger Christos Tzolis from Club Brugge for about 34 million euros, aiming to fill the gap left by Leandro Trossard’s departure.

Competition from Liverpool for Barcola

Liverpool also shows strong interest in Barcola. They have made moves to bolster their attack this summer, including signing Victor Munoz from Osasuna. With Mohamed Salah’s future uncertain, Liverpool wants to add new wide players. Manager Andoni Iraola has emphasized the need for reinforcements in wide positions. Liverpool has also approached Monaco’s Maghnes Akliouche as part of this effort.

The main challenge for Liverpool lies in reaching a financial agreement with PSG for Barcola, despite their eagerness to sign him.
