He went on to confirm that Gyökeres would remain with Arsenal, which Mundo Deportivo interpreted as a clear sign that Arsenal has stepped back from pursuing Álvarez.

With Gyökeres now confirmed as part of Arsenal’s plans, the club seems to have withdrawn from the race for Álvarez. Meanwhile, the Argentine forward is still on holiday, awaiting updates about his next move.

Barcelona continues to prioritize Álvarez but are content with their current attacking players like Anthony Gordon, Adeyemi, and Bisseck, and thus are not rushing into any transfer.
