Crystal Palace Signs Anan Khalaili on Long-Term Deal

Crystal Palace have landed Israel international Anan Khalaili on a long-term deal running to 2031, a statement signing for a club stepping into European football with growing ambition.

The Eagles are understood to have paid around £21m for the 21-year-old, who brings rare versatility on the flanks. Comfortable as a full-back or a winger, he offers Pierre Sage both defensive balance and attacking thrust on either side of the pitch.

Khalaili arrives from Union Saint-Gilloise, where his impact was immediate. Joining in 2024, he helped drive the Belgian side to a historic Belgian Pro League title – their first in 90 years – and added a Belgian Cup to complete a remarkable domestic double.

His numbers last season underline why Palace moved aggressively. Of his six goals across all competitions, three came in the Champions League, a return that arms Palace with genuine European know-how ahead of their Europa League campaign.

"I have followed the Premier League for a long time, it's a new challenge for me," Khalaili said as the move was confirmed. "And Crystal Palace I like, because I have followed them for a long time. They have deserved to win three trophies and I want to do more."

That ambition will resonate at Selhurst Park. Palace, preparing for the extra demands of Europe, have been steadily reshaping the squad this summer, and Khalaili becomes the fifth addition to Sage's side.
