O'Reilly, Guéhi, and Anderson Propel England to World Cup Quarter-Finals

The Three Lions overcame co-hosts Mexico in a thrilling match filled with drama and five goals. The kickoff faced a one-hour delay, and England had to battle not only their opponents but also the challenging altitude of Mexico City.

Despite the pressure from the home crowd and Mexico's early attempts, including efforts from Raul Jimenez, goalkeeper Jordan Pickford remained solid. Up until Jude Bellingham's quick double in the first half, Mexico had kept a clean sheet throughout the tournament.

Despite being a man down, Thomas Tuchel’s squad showed resilience and strong defensive resolve to maintain their lead and secure victory.
