Football Kit Updates for 2026-27: Parma, Melbourne Victory, and More

Parma go neon, Victory change hands, Sedan go gothic and Germany prepare to say goodbye to Adidas – football’s kit carousel for 2026-27 is already spinning fast.

Parma’s third kit turns the lights down and the volume up

Parma Calcio and Puma have rounded off the Serie A club’s 2026-27 wardrobe with a striking new third shirt, and it is anything but shy.

The design leans on a deep black base, then detonates it with high-contrast neon pink. A refined single-button collar carries vivid trim that flows into matching sleeve cuffs, while dynamic underarm panel inserts sharpen the silhouette and give the shirt a modern, athletic edge.

Every logo across the front pops in that same neon pink, creating a clean, aggressive look under floodlights. On the upper back, a graffiti-style “Writing Our Future” graphic adds a raw, streetwear note – a clear statement that this is as much about identity as it is about matchday.

With this release, Parma’s home, away and third kits for 26-27 are now complete.

Melbourne Victory close the Macron era and go “Melbourne Born. Melbourne Worn.”

On the other side of the world, A-League side Melbourne Victory have drawn a line under one kit chapter and opened another.

The club has announced a new multi-year deal with Australian activewear label Elite Eleven, who step in as Victory’s official Technical Kit and Apparel Partner from the 2026-27 season. The agreement runs for the next four campaigns and brings an end to the club’s stint with Italian supplier Macron.

Victory wasted no time marking the shift. Almost immediately after the announcement, the club rolled out its 26-27 training and lifestyle collection under the banner “Melbourne Born. Melbourne Worn.” The message is clear: a Melbourne brand for a Melbourne club.

The new training range is already on sale, while supporters will have to wait a little longer for the main event. Melbourne Victory’s 26-27 home and away kits are scheduled for an official unveiling in early October.

CS Sedan Ardennes go black and gothic with Kappa

In France, CS Sedan Ardennes and Kappa have completed their first full collection together with a bold third kit that looks built for both the terrace and the street.

After a retro-flavoured green home shirt and an off-white away strip, the 2026-27 third jersey moves firmly into lifestyle territory. It comes predominantly in black, fronted by a distinctive gothic-style “ARDENNES” wordmark that dominates the chest.

The club crest appears as a monochrome white badge on the left, balanced by white Kappa Omini logos on the right chest and along the shoulders. Thin red and green detailing on the sleeve cuffs nods back to Sedan’s traditional colours without breaking the dark, minimalist theme.

Black shorts and black socks finish the Kappa CS Sedan Ardennes 26-27 third strip, delivering a unified, night-game aesthetic.

Adidas and Germany prepare an emotional farewell

One of football’s most storied kit partnerships is heading for its final act, and Adidas are determined it will not slip quietly away.

Adidas CEO Björn Gulden has confirmed on the Spielmacher podcast that the Germany national team will wear a special farewell shirt in their UEFA Nations League fixtures in late 2026. The jersey will mark the end of a relationship with the DFB that began in 1954 and accompanied all four of Germany’s men’s World Cup titles and multiple European Championship triumphs.

With Nike set to take over as the DFB’s kit supplier from the start of 2027, those Nations League matches will be the last time Die Mannschaft step onto the pitch in Adidas gear.

Leaked images point to a design rooted in heritage. The farewell shirt is said to feature a predominantly black base with vertical gold diamond pinstripes running down the front, combining the iconic Adidas Trefoil with a classic DFB crest. A retro-inspired V-neck and cuff detailing complete a look that feels like a deliberate tribute to one of the most successful partnerships in the game’s visual history.

Barça’s Sant Jordi cross set for centre stage

While Germany look back, Barcelona are preparing another nod to local identity in the future.

Fresh renders have emerged of the leaked Nike FC Barcelona 2026-27 fourth shirt, created by Barcelona shirt specialist memorabilia1899. The mockups show summer signing Anthony Gordon and midfielder Pedri in the new design, giving a clear sense of how it will sit on the pitch.

The concept draws directly from Sant Jordi (Saint George), the patron saint of Catalonia. A light beige base acts as canvas for a bold maroon cross that dominates the front of the shirt. Dark navy details sharpen the look on the collar, sleeve cuffs, Nike Swoosh and Spotify sponsor logo.

Navy shorts and socks are expected to complete the kit, keeping the focus on that striking cross. Barcelona’s 26-27 fourth kit is slated for an official release in January 2027, alongside a full matching apparel collection.

From neon pink statements in Parma to gothic black in Sedan, from a Melbourne club going all-in with a local brand to Germany’s farewell to Adidas and Barça’s Sant Jordi cross, 2026-27 is already shaping up as a season where the shirts carry as much story as the football itself.
