Galatasaray Rejects €130m Al-Hilal Bid for Victor Osimhen

Galatasaray have turned down a staggering €130m offer from Al-Hilal for Victor Osimhen, making it clear they will not entertain any talks over a sale this summer.

The Saudi Pro League club lodged the verbal proposal on Wednesday through intermediaries, testing Galatasaray’s resolve with one of the biggest bids of the window. The answer came back quickly: no deal.

According to Sky Sports, the Turkish champions informed Al-Hilal that Osimhen is simply not for sale. No negotiations. No counter. The door is shut.

It is a statement that underlines just how central the Nigerian has become in Istanbul. Since arriving from Napoli on an initial loan in 2024, Osimhen has torn through the Süper Lig, scoring 59 goals in 74 games. His impact forced Galatasaray to break the Turkish transfer record last summer, paying €75m to make the move permanent.

Al-Hilal knew exactly what they were chasing. They have tracked Osimhen for a long time and previously came close to landing him before his switch to Galatasaray. This time they came armed with money and a clear plan.

The Riyadh giants are building towards a serious assault on the Pro League title in the 2026/27 season after finishing second last term, just two points behind champions Al-Nassr. The margins are thin at the top, and they see a ruthless No. 9 as the difference-maker.

The pressure on their forward line is only growing. The club are expected to sanction the departure of Darwin Nunez in the coming days, leaving a major vacancy at the heart of the attack. Osimhen has been identified as the marquee name to fill it.
