Harry Kane Breaks Bundesliga Records with 100 Goals

Harry Kane is rewriting Germany’s record book with the same cold precision he once reserved for Premier League defenders.

On Friday night, just weeks before the Ballon d'Or is handed out, Bayern Munich walked into Union Berlin’s ground for the fourth matchday of the Bundesliga season. The script, as so often now, had two familiar signatures.

Jamal Musiala struck first, lighting up the game with a superb opener that underlined his growing status as Bayern’s creative heartbeat. The visitors settled, the pressure mounted, and Union’s resistance began to creak.

Then came Kane.

In the 39th minute, the England captain stepped up to the spot. One run-up, one clean strike, one net bulging. Routine on the surface, historic underneath.

That penalty was his 100th Bundesliga goal. He reached the milestone in just 98 matches.

With it, Kane became the fastest player ever to hit 100 goals in Germany’s top flight, smashing a record that had stood since the 1970s. Dieter Müller needed 129 games to get there. Kane has torn through that benchmark with time – and matches – to spare.

From London icon to “Sir Harry” in Bavaria, the numbers now carry the same message in any language: relentless.
