Ismael Saibari Outlines Bayern Vision: Confidence and Development
At his official unveiling, Ismael Saibari made it clear he sees Bayern as the perfect stage for the next step in his career – both on and off the pitch.
“Bayern is one of the biggest clubs in the world,” he said, outlining why the move felt right from the start. “They've given me the confidence that I can develop as a player and person here.”
What drew him in wasn’t just the badge or the trophies, but the way the team plays.
“They play with a lot of movement and high intensity. I saw that myself last season,” Saibari explained. “They play very good football, it's always intense, they always look for finishes. I like that a lot.”
That high-tempo, front-foot style under Vincent Kompany seems tailor-made for a versatile attacking midfielder, but Saibari admitted the tactical fine print is still to come.
“I haven't discussed it [position] in detail with the coach. I've been focusing on my injury and comeback. We'll definitely talk about it soon.”
What he doesn’t hide is where he feels most at home.
“My favourite position is the number ten, everyone knows that,” he said. “But I can play in several positions, we always switch around during games anyway. I can also play out wide and a bit deeper.”
A club built on intensity, a player who thrives in chaos between the lines – the conversation with Kompany is still ahead, but the footballing fit already looks obvious.
