Juventus Targets Kolo Muani for 2026-27 Season

Randal Kolo Muani is back on Juventus’ radar – and this time, the door from his side is wide open.

The French striker, unwanted at PSG and coming off a bruising year in England, has shown what has been described as “total openness” to rejoining the Bianconeri for the 2026-27 season, with Juventus having re-established contact over a deal.

From Turin spark to London struggle

Juventus know exactly what Kolo Muani can offer when the environment suits him. During his loan spell in Turin in the second half of the 2024-25 campaign, he produced the kind of numbers that make sporting directors pick up the phone. Eight goals in 16 Serie A appearances. A goal every other game. Sharp movement, direct running, and the sense that he was only just settling in.

That stint convinced Juventus to try to keep him. They pushed to bring him back to the Allianz Stadium in the summer that followed, only to be outmanoeuvred in negotiations with PSG. The French club sent him instead to Tottenham Hotspur on loan, and his career veered off course.

In the Premier League, the story flipped. One goal in 30 league appearances, a season in which Tottenham flirted dangerously with disaster and escaped relegation to the Championship by just two points. For Kolo Muani, it was a campaign that damaged his stock: a centre-forward judged primarily on goals, with a record that suddenly looked brutally thin.

Juventus won’t let go

Juventus, though, have not been put off. Their interest has survived both the failed talks of a year ago and the striker’s poor return in England.

According to Fabrizio Romano, the club have been back in touch with the player’s camp and are again working on a deal for 2026-27. The message from the player’s side is clear: he is fully open to coming back to Italy and to Juventus.

It is not the first time they have tried to intervene during his Tottenham spell. Romano reports that Juventus made approaches at various points in the 2025-26 season, sensing an opportunity as Kolo Muani struggled for a regular starting place in North London. Each time, then-Spurs head coach Thomas Frank blocked a departure, keeping the forward in a squad where he was far from a guaranteed starter.

PSG ready to deal, Juventus sense their moment

The context in Paris helps Juventus. PSG are under no financial pressure and do not need to force a sale, but nor do they have a strong desire to reintegrate Kolo Muani into their plans this summer. He is a high-profile asset on the fringes, and that usually ends one way.

Juventus are in contact with his entourage, working to turn that situation to their advantage. They failed once to convert a productive loan into a permanent or renewed agreement. This time, with the player pushing for a return and PSG more relaxed about his future, they believe the pieces can finally fall into place.

Kolo Muani’s career stands at a crossroads: another season on the margins in Paris, or a return to the city where his finishing once lit up the Allianz Stadium. Juventus have made their choice. Now they are trying to make it his.
