Marcus Rashford Adds New Tattoos: Numbers 14 and 9

Marcus Rashford has found space for two more numbers on his skin – and on his story.

The Manchester United forward has added 14 and 9 to his growing gallery of tattooed shirt numbers, according to Manchester-based artist Dale McGovern. They sit alongside the already familiar 39, 19 and 10, each one a marker of a different stage of his career.

No. 14 takes him back to Barcelona. It was the shirt he wore for his first move abroad, a bold step that ended with La Liga and Spanish Super Cup medals. That number now lives permanently on his body, a reminder of a season that proved he could carry his game beyond Old Trafford.

No. 9 tells another tale. Rashford used it at Aston Villa, then brought it home with him when he returned to United wearing the same number. It is now the fourth shirt he has worn for the club, a symbol of his evolution from academy prospect to senior forward, and a nod to the traditional centre-forward role he has increasingly embraced.
