Mikey Moore Closer to Cologne Loan as Spurs Clear Transfer Logjam

According to Bild, 1. FC Köln are close to securing the 19-year-old Tottenham Hotspur winger on loan, with an agreement with the player said to have been in place for some time. The final hurdle was always the coach. Now Roberto De Zerbi has reportedly given his approval – and that changes everything.
De Zerbi finally opens the door
For weeks, De Zerbi had blocked Moore’s exit. He counted on the teenager, and his team sheet proved it. Moore started Spurs’ Premier League opener on Saturday, a bruising 3-0 home defeat to Brentford, as the north London side stumbled badly out of the blocks.

Once those arrivals are completed, Tottenham’s attacking logjam should ease. With fresh options coming in, Moore no longer needs to be held as tightly, and the green light for a loan has followed.
