RB Leipzig Push for Matias Fernandez-Pardo Transfer

RB Leipzig are accelerating their late-window push to land Matias Fernandez-Pardo, with a deal edging closer as the clock ticks down.

Sky Germany report that Leipzig have already reached an agreement on personal terms with the Belgium international, clearing a major hurdle in negotiations. The Bundesliga club have tabled an offer believed to be in the region of €32–33 million, a package that includes what are described as realistic bonus payments.

Leipzig’s move for the 21-year-old Lille forward comes as part of a broader attacking reshuffle. The club are also closing in on a loan deal for Christopher Nkunku from AC Milan, aiming to bring both players through the door before the transfer window shuts.

Fernandez-Pardo, still at an early stage of his career, has put up 12 goals and 11 assists in 71 appearances for Lille. Those numbers don’t scream superstardom yet, but they hint at a versatile attacker who can both finish and create.

If Leipzig get this over the line alongside Nkunku’s return, Marco Rose will walk into the second half of the season with a very different set of weapons in the final third.
