According to ESPN Brazil, Mohamed Salah and Fabinho have personally contacted Richarlison to encourage him to make the switch to Turkey. The Brazilian, desperate for a fresh start, has already made it clear in public that he intends to take control of his own future.
Behind the scenes, the mood has darkened. Tension between Richarlison and the Tottenham hierarchy has escalated sharply, with the forward said to be frustrated by what he sees as an unyielding stance from the boardroom as the clock ticks down.
De Zerbi shuts the door
On the pitch, the break-up has already begun.
Roberto De Zerbi has left Richarlison out of Tottenham’s Premier League squad after a proposed return to Everton collapsed. The Italian has made his position brutally clear: Richarlison is not part of his plans for this season.
The 27-year-old has been sent to train with the under-21s, effectively exiled from the first-team group. For a player who arrived as a marquee signing, it is a stark fall.
If the Trabzonspor move collapses completely, Richarlison faces an unappealing choice. He can hunt for options in the few remaining open markets, such as Saudi Arabia, or resign himself to months without competitive football.

Trabzonspor, for their part, have little margin for error. They must move quickly and decisively if they are to meet Tottenham’s £35m asking price before the Turkish deadline hits at 23:59 on September 4.
Without an agreement, Richarlison will stay marooned in north London until January, frozen out while De Zerbi presses ahead with reshaping his attack. For the head coach and the club, the priority is clear: get the new frontline firing.
