Europe’s Leading Assist Providers in the 2026-27 Season So Far
Last season, Bruno Fernandes topped the assist charts across Europe. This year, although the campaign is still young, several players have emerged as key creators in the Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga, and Ligue 1.
This list only counts assists from league matches. Where players share the same number of assists, the one with fewer minutes played ranks higher due to a superior assist ratio.
10. Evanilson – 3 Assists
Evanilson has already tripled his previous Premier League assist total but is yet to score. He’s assisted against Manchester City, Everton, and Brentford, though his team Bournemouth remains without a win this season.
9. Cody Gakpo – 3 Assists
Cody Gakpo has provided three assists for Liverpool, all set up for Alexander Isak. Two came in the same match during a victory over Ipswich. This strong form comes after speculation he might leave during the summer transfer window.
8. Dani Olmo – 3 Assists
Dani Olmo has come off the bench in four out of six La Liga appearances but still managed three assists. Barcelona boasts an impressive attacking lineup, with Raphinha leading the major European leagues in goals while also tallying three assists (though he misses this top 10 due to minutes played).

2. Paulo Dybala – 4 Assists
Paulo Dybala recovered from injuries late last season to help Roma reach the Champions League and continues his form this year. His link-up with Donyell Malen is strong, having assisted every goal of Malen’s hat-trick against Fiorentina. Dybala added another assist in a win over Atalanta and nearly another versus Torino.
1. Anthony Gordon – 4 Assists
Anthony Gordon looks to be thriving after moving from Newcastle United to Barcelona. In his debut, he created two assists within six minutes of entering the pitch. Gordon has since assisted against Rayo Vallecano and Valencia. His career-best assist count is 10 in a single Premier League season (2023-24), and he seems on track to surpass that this season.
