Tottenham Close to Signing Savinho After Agreeing Personal Terms

Tottenham Hotspur are on the verge of securing another significant signing this summer. The club has already impressed by breaking their transfer record twice, landing Mateus Fernandes and Sandro Tonali, both of whom have revitalized Spurs' midfield.

The defensive line has also seen new faces like Andy Robertson, Marcos Senesi, Jan Paul van Hecke, and Martin Dubravka. Now, Tottenham want to strengthen their attack, with a focus on adding a new left-winger and centre-forward amid uncertainty over Richarlison's future.

From Morgan Rogers to Savinho

Initially, Tottenham targeted Morgan Rogers, but his move is likely headed towards Arsenal, although Chelsea unexpectedly agreed to a £117m deal for the England international from Aston Villa. This shift pushed Spurs to explore other options.

Manchester City's winger Savinho has emerged as Tottenham's prime target. Reports indicate that Spurs have reached an agreement on personal terms with the 22-year-old Brazil international, with a deal reportedly around £65 million. This comes a year after Tottenham first tried to sign him when Thomas Frank was managing the team.

Savinho’s style has drawn praise from Pep Guardiola, and pundit Paul Merson compared his play to that of Barcelona star Lamine Yamal.

Interest in Eli Junior Kroupi Despite Savinho Pursuit

Even if the Savinho deal goes through, Tottenham remains interested in Eli Junior Kroupi, the Bournemouth forward. After scoring 13 Premier League goals last season and helping Bournemouth qualify for Europe for the first time, Kroupi is attracting attention from several top European clubs.

Arsenal are also monitoring Kroupi following their loss in the chase for Morgan Rogers. However, Bournemouth are reluctant to sell, and Kroupi’s asking price is expected to be high. Whether either north London club can meet Bournemouth’s demands remains uncertain.
