Tottenham Opens Talks for Franco Mastantuono Loan to Strengthen Attack

Tottenham Hotspur, after securing six new players this summer under Roberto De Zerbi, are now looking to add more firepower to their forward line. The club has reportedly made contact regarding a loan deal for Franco Mastantuono, a young talent from Real Madrid.

Pre-Season Debut for New Signings

Fans caught their first look at summer arrivals Mateus Fernandes and Sandro Tonali during a closed-door match where Tottenham beat MK Dons 1-0 at Hotspur Way. Fernandes impressed with a stunning volley early in the game. As Tottenham prepare for their tour in New Zealand and Australia, supporters hope to see more of the new signings in action alongside Martin Dubravka, Jan Paul van Hecke, Marcos Senesi, and Andy Robertson.

Interest in Mastantuono Grows

According to Argentine outlet Cronica, Tottenham is among several clubs showing interest in 18-year-old Franco Mastantuono. The former River Plate player joined Real Madrid last year for £38.5 million but could be sent on loan to gain more first-team experience. Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has praised him as "one of the biggest talents in world football." Mastantuono featured in 23 LaLiga matches last season, starting 11 times.

An additional right-wing player would help, especially since Wilson Odobert is out with an ACL injury and Dejan Kulusevski's return remains uncertain after over a year sidelined. Mohammed Kudus aims for a strong comeback after limited appearances due to injury, while Mathys Tel can cover either wing.
