adidas has thrown down a clear line in the grass again: Chaos on one side, Control on the other.
With the new ‘Chaos vs Control’ boot pack, the brand has revived one of football’s great internal battles – the raw, breakneck speed of the F50 against the cold, calculated precision of the Predator – and did it on the biggest stage of all, as the FIFA World Cup 2026 reached its decisive moments.
Predator: the architect’s boot
The Predator Elite FT arrives dressed for the spotlight. A clean white base, slashed with solar turbo stripes and finished with sharp black detailing. It looks ruthless. It’s built to match.
At the heart of the design is NANOSTRIKE+, a reworked mesh upper that blends softness and lightness with built-in grip elements to sharpen striking accuracy. This isn’t just about comfort; it’s about turning every contact into a deliberate act.
The iconic FOLD-OVER TONGUE returns to provide a smooth, consistent striking surface – a nod to Predator heritage, tuned for the modern game. Underneath, the STRIKEFRAME soleplate is engineered to bite into the turf, giving players the traction and rotational agility to pivot, plant and punish.
