Arsenal Revives Classic Yellow for 2026–27 Third Kit
Arsenal is returning to a familiar shade with their new third kit for the 2026–27 season, bringing back the vibrant yellow after a five-year absence. Although the club is traditionally linked to red, yellow has been a key alternate color since the 1950s and is featured in some of their most memorable kits.
The Gunners haven't sported yellow on the pitch since the 2021–22 season, reserving it mainly for lifestyle apparel. But now, under manager Mikel Arteta’s guidance, they are embracing the classic hue once again for the upcoming campaign.
"Arsenal State of Mind" Embraces Unity and Ambition
This kit launch comes with the message “Arsenal State of Mind,” emphasizing that Arsenal represents more than just football — it's a collective spirit filled with hope and ambition. With expectations at an all-time high after securing the Premier League title last season, the team aims to chase European success, and this kit symbolizes pushing toward greater achievements.
Arsenal Women forward Alessia Russo shared her thoughts:
“Being part of Arsenal means being part of something bigger than yourself. There’s a sense of belief, ambition and togetherness that connects everyone who loves this club. That’s what Arsenal State of Mind means to me. It’s the feeling that we’re all part of the same journey and pushing towards the same goals. We can’t wait to wear this kit and create more amazing memories with our supporters this season.”
The third jersey pairs the yellow top with navy shorts and socks. Fans can now purchase the kit through Arsenal and adidas.
Kai Havertz Sets High Standards for the Season
Forward Kai Havertz expressed the team’s hunger for success, declaring that anything less than trophies will fall short of their ambitions.
“We want all the trophies. That’s what we’re here for. We won the Premier League now but there’s a lot more that we can do. We have to reach another level to make that happen because we know how long the season is and how hard it is to go through all the competitions. We want to do it better again this year and make things happen again.”
He added,
“I think we can, or we have to go further. You see especially other teams getting better, so we have to step up another level again. I think that’s what we’re all here for, that’s what we train for. We want to start strong and reach our goals this season again.”
