Borussia Dortmund have set their sights on one of Paris Saint-Germain’s brightest young forwards, opening talks over a potential move for Ibrahim Mbaye, according to Fabrizio Romano.

The Bundesliga club, still intent on sharpening their cutting edge in the final third, have made contact to explore the 18-year-old winger’s situation at PSG. It is an early move, a probing call rather than a full-scale bid, but it underlines how highly Mbaye is rated across Europe.

Dortmund know this market well. They have built a reputation on identifying young attacking talent before it explodes and giving it a stage big enough to accelerate that rise.
