Carabao Cup Second Round Draw Reveals Matchups for Chelsea, Tottenham, Newcastle in 2026-27

The draw for the second round of the 2026-27 Carabao Cup took place on Monday, August 10. This phase introduces several Premier League clubs, including Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur, and Newcastle United.

While many of the leading teams, such as the defending champions Manchester City, are yet to join the competition, these early stages often produce some fascinating knockout clashes. Last season, Manchester United were surprisingly knocked out by fourth-tier Grimsby Town at this point.
