In an interview with MARCA, the defensive midfielder described how fast he adapted to the intensity of English football within just weeks. "I've been here for three weeks," he said. "It's been a quick but enthusiastic adjustment. I'm very happy, and so far everything is going well."

He compared the Premier League to the German Bundesliga, noting: "Both leagues are competitive, but the Premier League is the top league worldwide. The pace is faster, the game flows more with fewer stoppages, and the physical level is higher. Scoring here feels really special."

Andres revealed that his goal keeps getting played over and over in family group chats. "I must have watched it several times because my friends and family keep sending it. I just say, ‘I’ll watch it again.’ It gives me a real buzz," he shared.

Overcoming Language Barriers

He also talked about settling into the dressing room and improving communication. "Now I’m doing well, much better. Everyone speaks English here. In Germany, many spoke English too, but German could sometimes be a barrier. At Brighton, everything is in English. Our coach is German, but I understand Germans a bit, so it’s all good."

Brighton Aim to Maintain Momentum

After five games, Brighton have collected ten points and sit firmly in the top four. Manager Fabian Hurzeler’s squad will return from the international break with a tough away match at Sunderland on October 10.
