Doku and O'Reilly Missing from Manchester City's Training Ahead of Porto Clash
Jeremy Doku and Nico O'Reilly were both missing from Manchester City’s main training session on Monday, casting early doubt over their involvement in the Champions League trip to Porto.
The pair sat out as City went through their final preparations for Tuesday night’s group-stage clash in Portugal, a noticeable absence as Enzo Maresca sharpened his squad for their first European test of the season.
City have not confirmed whether either player has been ruled out of the game, but the timing is far from ideal.
Doku has yet to feature in the Premier League this campaign, still waiting for his first minutes under Maresca. O'Reilly, meanwhile, had to withdraw from the starting XI ahead of Saturday’s win over Coventry after suffering a back problem, a late change that disrupted City’s plans but did not derail their result.
