Hakimi Injury Update Ahead of Clasico

Paris Saint-Germain walked out of Brest with three points and one big worry. By Monday afternoon, that concern had eased.

Achraf Hakimi, who limped off during PSG’s narrow 1–0 win over Stade Brest in Ligue 1, has been diagnosed with only a minor thigh injury, the club confirmed.

The right-back pulled up during the game clutching his hamstring area, a sight that instantly darkened the mood around an otherwise valuable away victory. Luis Enrique admitted after the match he couldn’t yet gauge how serious the problem was, leaving the door open to speculation with Le Classique against Olympique Marseille looming.

“After sustaining a minor injury to his right thigh during last night's match against Brest, Achraf Hakimi will undergo medical treatment for two days.”

The statement added that Hakimi will then have “an additional medical examination” once that short treatment period ends.

The upshot is clear: barring an unexpected setback, the Moroccan defender should be available for next Sunday’s Ligue 1 showdown with Marseille, a fixture that rarely forgives absences or half-measures.
