Juventus Aiming to Renew Contract of French Defender Pierre Kalulu

Juventus is reportedly negotiating to prolong the contract of their French defender, Pierre Kalulu, who is currently 26 years old. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Kalulu’s current deal runs until 2029, but the club wants to secure his services for a longer period.

The Lyon-born player has become a key figure at Juventus, both on the pitch and in the locker room. Despite interest from several Premier League clubs during the summer transfer window, Kalulu chose to remain with the Vecchia Signora, demonstrating his commitment to the Turin-based team.

These factors have led the club’s management to initiate talks with Kalulu’s representatives. The discussions are reported to be positive, with the player's camp open to renewing the contract.

Career Path and Impact at Juventus

Kalulu rose through the youth system of Olympique Lyonnais but never made a professional appearance there. In the summer of 2020, he transferred to AC Milan, where he featured in 112 games over four seasons. He then moved to Juventus in 2024. Since joining, the French international, who has earned three caps for Les Bleus, has shown consistent performances, quickly establishing himself as a reliable defender.
