Important Dates for the 2026-27 Women's Football Season
The 2026-27 women's football season is underway, with Champions League qualifiers in progress and the Women's Africa Cup of Nations happening at the same time. The FA Cup preliminary rounds start later this month, followed by the opening matches of the Women’s Super League (WSL) and Women’s Super League 2 (WSL2) early September.
The Subway Players Cup, also known as the League Cup, begins in September too. The full FA Cup rounds kick off at the end of October. Five international breaks are scheduled throughout the season leading up to the 2027 Women’s World Cup, which Brazil will host in June and July.
