Training Sessions Show Barcola’s Potential
Barcola integrated into Liverpool’s training routines immediately after arriving at the AXA Training Centre on Monday. With just two or three sessions under his belt, Kerkez was already impressed by his quality and potential.
"He’s a great player. Everyone knows him obviously," Kerkez said. "After two or three sessions, you can see the quality and potential still to improve a lot. He can be a really good player."Kerkez added, "Really fast, good dribbler, so I think he’s going to help us a lot."

"For us, especially as defenders, we want clean sheets and the target is you don’t want them to score," Kerkez explained. "We worked to correct those things this week, so I think it should get better."He also noted, "We had meetings, we had video analysis for the defenders always. Obviously, we don’t want to come back from behind – we want to start winning from the beginning."
