United are open to a sale, and Zirkzee is now weighing up his next move after a bruising spell in English football.
Two unnamed Premier League clubs have already sounded out his situation, testing the water on a deal for a forward who arrived with flair and promise but never truly settled into the league’s unforgiving rhythm. Ajax also made an enquiry about United’s stance, only to step back once their own attacking rebuild gathered pace with the arrivals of Marcos Leonardo and Tolu Arokodare. For the Dutch side, the door closed almost as quickly as it opened.
Juventus Interest
In Italy, it is a very different story.
Juventus are pushing hard. The Turin club are working on a loan agreement and, crucially, Zirkzee has given his approval to a return to Serie A. For a player who built his reputation in that environment, the prospect of going back to a league that suits his technical, link‑up game carries obvious appeal. Premier League Struggles
His Premier League numbers tell a harsher tale.
