Allianz Arena Set for Third Champions League Final in 2028
Following previous finals in 2012 and 2025, FC Bayern's Allianz Arena will welcome the men's UEFA Champions League final again in May 2028. The UEFA executive committee gave the green light to Munich City Council's bid, scheduling the match for 27 May 2028.
This marks the third time the Allianz Arena will host Europe's most prestigious club football event, just three years after successfully staging the 2025 final. The festivities around the final are planned to span four days, from 25 to 28 May 2028, featuring two fan zones downtown and a centrally located Champions Festival.

By 2028, Munich will have hosted the European club competition final six times. Besides the Allianz Arena events in 2012, 2025, and 2028, the city welcomed finals at the Olympiastadion in 1979, 1993, and 1997.
