Juventus Pursues Kolo Muani for Attack Rebuild

Juventus are trying to drag their forward line into a new era, and Randal Kolo Muani is right back at the centre of the plan.

Multiple sources in Italy report that the Frenchman is open to returning to Turin this summer, with the Bianconeri locked in talks with Paris Saint-Germain as they work on a double swoop for Kolo Muani and Alexander Sorloth.

Attack ripped up, attack rebuilt

This is not a tweak. It is a reset.

Dusan Vlahovic will walk away on a free when his contract expires on June 30, leaving a gaping hole at centre-forward. Lois Openda and Jonathan David, signed to be the future of the Juventus frontline, have not convinced in their debut season in Turin. Their inconsistent form has pushed the club to put them on the market and listen to offers.

That leaves Juventus scrambling to build a new attack almost from scratch, with Sorloth and Kolo Muani at the top of the list.

Talks with Atletico Madrid for Sorloth are already advanced. The Italian side have reached an agreement with the Norway international, clearing one major hurdle. The focus now is on finding a deal with PSG that brings Kolo Muani back to the Allianz Stadium.

Juventus and PSG haggle over the numbers

The gap is clear. PSG want around €35m. Juventus do not want to go beyond €30m.

According to Romeo Agresti of Sky Sport and Tuttosport, the two clubs remain in contact and are exploring formulas to bridge that difference. One route on the table is a loan with an obligation to buy, linked to conditions that are almost certain to be met.

PSG’s stance helps. Kolo Muani is not in Luis Enrique’s plans, and with a contract running until June 2028, the French champions are keen to move him on rather than discuss a new deal with the former Tottenham loanee.

That opens the door for Juventus to negotiate a structure that protects their budget while still delivering a striker entering his prime.

A proven fit in Turin

Kolo Muani has already shown he can live with the weight of the Juventus shirt. In the second half of the 2024-25 campaign, he hit ten goals in 22 appearances, giving the attack a sharper edge and a directness it had often lacked.

Those months in black and white left a mark. Reports in Italy suggest the 27-year-old is eager to return to the Allianz Stadium, even with Juventus set to miss out on Champions League football in 2026-27. The pull of a leading role in a rebuilt side, and a city where he has already delivered, appears strong.

For Juventus, that matters. They do not just need goals; they need forwards who want the responsibility of dragging the club back towards the top.

The negotiations with PSG will decide how quickly that vision takes shape. If Juventus can land both Sorloth and Kolo Muani on their terms, the conversation around their attack could change in a single summer.
