Kolo Muani Surgery: Juventus Anticipates Quick Recovery

Juventus have confirmed that Randal Kolo Muani has undergone successful surgery on a hand fracture suffered in the 2-0 win over Atalanta, but the striker is not expected to be out for long.

The Frenchman picked up the injury in an accidental collision during the Serie A clash at the Allianz Stadium in Turin on Sunday night, a game that underlined his growing influence in Luciano Spalletti’s new-look attack.

Medical tests revealed a fracture of the proximal phalanx in his hand, an issue serious enough to require immediate intervention. The club opted for osteosynthesis surgery, carried out on Monday at the J|medical centre within the Continassa complex.

The operation was performed by De Loris Pegoli and, according to Juventus, went according to plan.

Crucially for Spalletti, the recovery timeline is short. Kolo Muani is expected to resume training within a couple of days and should be available to work under the coach during the international break, limiting the disruption to Juventus’ early-season rhythm.
