Lampard forced into changes as Coventry chase a spark
For Coventry, this is already edging towards a damage-limitation phase of the season. Four games, zero points, zero goals. The table does not flatter them.
Lampard’s hand is forced. Three changes from Gameweek 4, and none of them by choice.
Aurele Amenda and Milan van Ewijk are ruled out injured, while Taiwo Awoniyi serves a suspension. That opens the door for Caleb Yirenkyi, Brandon Thomas-Asante and Stephen Mfuni, who all come into the starting XI as Coventry search for anything resembling a foothold.
