Salah Dominates as Trabzonspor Defeats Galatasaray 4-0
Mohamed Salah ran the show. Victor Osimhen never even made it onto the stage.
Galatasaray travelled to Trabzon hoping their star striker could at least make the bench after his injury layoff. He had trained away from the main group during the week, just enough to fuel optimism that he might be involved. When the teams were confirmed without his name, that hope vanished. Salah steals the spotlight

Noah Saviolo arrived right on cue, sweeping his finish back across goal to cap a slick team move and double the lead. Galatasaray’s back line could only watch the ball roll in.
Just when the visitors needed the half-time whistle to regroup, Salah struck once more. Positioned in the box, he applied the finishing touch to make it three before the break, his sixth league goal of the season. Trabzonspor were in cruise control. Galatasaray were in damage limitation.
Hat-trick sealed, tempers lost
The second half offered Galatasaray little comfort. With Osimhen absent and the attack blunt, they never found a way to drag themselves back into the contest. Trabzonspor managed the tempo, picked their moments, and waited for Salah to finish the job.
With 10 minutes left, he did exactly that. The Egyptian completed his hat-trick, underlining his dominance and turning a commanding win into a rout. Any faint sense of a comeback disappeared with that third strike; the scoreline now reflected the gulf in cutting edge.
Frustration finally boiled over on the Galatasaray bench. Okan Buruk reacted furiously to a decision and was shown a red card, compounding a miserable night for the visitors. As he headed down the tunnel, the scoreboard told the story: 4-0 to Trabzonspor, Salah the undisputed star, and Osimhen still stuck on the sidelines.
